Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy Suresh (born 17 October 1992) is an Indian actress that appears mainly in Tamil and Telugu films, in addition to a few Malayalam films. She received the National Film Award's Best Actress award for portraying Savitri the actor in the Telugu film Mahanati (2018). She has also won three SIIMA Awards as well as the Filmfare Award South. Keerthy has the father of filmmaker G. Suresh Kumar and actress Menaka G. Suresh. She started her career as a child actress during the 2000s, and later went back to film after studying fashion design. She was the lead in Geethaanjali, a Malayalam-language film. She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). Keerthy embarked on the first of her Malayalam projects and also began to work on projects in Tamil at the same time. In 2015, she released A. L. Vijay's romantic comedy Idhu Enna Maayam and Vikramprabhu against one another. The films didn't do very well in the cinemas. A busy schedule during 2015 meant that she had decide to pull out of projects that she was already developing, like Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye as well as Deekay's Kavalai Vendam in order to accommodate bigger projects. The actress was in two films quickly, along together with Sivakarthikeyan, Rajini Murugan & Remo. Dhanush was also one of the main actors in Prabhu's Thodari. In 2015, the film was later delayed and reports suggest that Janakitho Nenu will be released in September of 2020. The first film to debut came out as Nenu Sailaja in 2016 with actor Ram Pothineni.
