Jeanie Marie Buss, an American businesswoman from America. The current president is and the controlling owner for the Los Angeles Lakers National Basketball Association. A California native Buss grew up in an extremely wealthy family. Jerry Buss, her father was a businessman in the field of real estate and later became owner of Lakers Entertainment and Sports. Following the divorce of her parents in 1972 She began feeling as if she was abandoned. Her family's business was started when she was 19 as general manager for the Los Angeles Strings tennis team. Then, she established her own Los Angeles Blades pro roller hockey team. Prior to becoming vice-president of the Lakers in 2013, she was president of the Great Western Forum. Buss inherited the Lakers by her dad in the year 2013. The five siblings she had were the inheritors through a family trust. In 2013, Buss took over the presidency for Los Angeles Lakers.
