Nancy Wilson and Maisie Richardson

Nancy Wilson (jazz singer) was born to Olden Wilson as an ironworker from Chillicothe on the 20th of February, 1937. Her mother, Lillian Ryan worked as housekeeper. Nancy was the oldest of six children. The music passion of her father and the records he played at home had a major influence on Nancy when she was a little girl. In her early years she was already able to establish the impression of her identity and what she hoped to accomplish. Church choirs encouraged her to develop the talent. Her debut album was released in 1956 with Rusty's Carolyn Club Big Band. They performed with her throughout 1956 and 1957. Nancy recorded her first record with Dot Records while in the band. Cannonball Adderley advised her that she needed to relocate into New York to further her professional career. She moved to The Big Town in 1959. The singer was brought in to perform for The Blue Morocco Night Club located in The Bronx, where Adderley's agent had heard her. The singer made her debut in the year 1960, with a single after he obtained an agreement with Capitol Records. Guess whom I am seeing in the present. Initially focusing on blues and rhythm under Adderley's influence, she began to move away from R&B and embraced jazz and torch songs. Nancy Wilson and Cannonball Adderley's collaboration in the year 1962 helped make her a star and her hit Tell Me the Truth was recorded in 1963. The performance led her to a spot in the New York Coconut Grove in 1963. It was the most crowded in America's nightclub.

Maisie Richardson Sellers is an actress that is active in TV and film. Her most well-known role is the actress who played Chloe Winthrop (the lead) in Netflix's The Kissing Booth.
