Nancy Wilson and Maisie Richardson

Nancy Wilson (jazz singer) was born to Olden Wilson as an ironworker from Chillicothe on the 20th of February, 1937. Her mother, Lillian Ryan worked as housekeeper. Nancy was the oldest of six children. The music passion of her father and the records he played at home had a major influence on Nancy when she was a little girl. In her early years she was already able to establish the impression of her identity and what she hoped to accomplish. Church choirs encouraged her to develop the talent. In her early teens and had a chance to win a talent show on TV and started appearing regularly in The Skyline Melodies Tv Show while still in High School. The same year when she was working, she began performing in nightclubs. After graduating from high school the 17-year old Nancy took a class for a year at Ohio's Central State College now Central State University prior to dropping out and becoming professional as a singer. Her debut album was released in 1956 with Rusty's Carolyn Club Big Band. They performed with her throughout 1956 and 1957. Nancy recorded her first record with Dot Records while in the band. Cannonball Adderley advised her that she needed to relocate into New York to further her professional career. She moved to The Big Town in 1959. The singer was brought in to perform for The Blue Morocco Night Club located in The Bronx, where Adderley's agent had heard her. The singer made her debut in the year 1960, with a single after he obtained an agreement with Capitol Records. Guess whom I am seeing in the present. Capitol Records released 5 Nancy Wilson albums over a time span of 2 years. Initially focusing on blues and rhythm under Adderley's influence, she began to move away from R&B and embraced jazz and torch songs. Nancy Wilson and Cannonball Adderley's collaboration in the year 1962 helped make her a star and her hit Tell Me the Truth was recorded in 1963. The performance led her to a spot in the New York Coconut Grove in 1963. It was the most crowded in America's nightclub.

Maisie Richardson Sellers is an actress that is active in TV and film. Her most well-known role is the actress who played Chloe Winthrop (the lead) in Netflix's The Kissing Booth. In addition, she played a major role in the ABC Biblical series Of Kings and Prophets as King Saul of Israel's daughter Michal. Korr Sella was featured as part of the cast on Short Wars The Force Awakens. In 2016, she was a part of Netflix's Original Film The Kissing Booth Season 2 as Chloe Winthrop.
