Nancy Wilson was born 20th February 1937 in Chillicothe to Olden Wilson, a ironworker and Lillian Ryan (a former housemaid). Nancy was the youngest out of 6 siblings. Her father was a musician and would play records at home. This was a major influence in her early years. When she was just four years old, she knew that she was going to be a star in the singing world. Her talent developed due to her participation in the choir at church. In her early teens and had a chance to win the talent show on T.V. and began appearing on the Skyline Melodies Tv Show while at the time she was still in high school. The same year, she began to work in nightclubs. Nancy graduated high school at 17 and attended Ohio's Central State College, now Central State University for a entire year. Then she dropped out to pursue a job as a professional musician. She recorded her first record with Rusty's Carolyn Club Big Band in 1956. They toured from 1956 to 1958. Nancy recorded her first record with Dot Records while in the group. Cannonball Adderley encouraged her to move into New York to further her professional career. She moved into The Big Town at the end of the year 1959. The agent of Adderley heard about her at The Blue Morocco Night Club, Boston Road, The Bronx and she signed. Within a month after arriving in New York City. His agent signed her with Capitol in 1960. The year she made her debut was the same year. Guess Who You Saw Today. The records she released were also successful. Capitol released 5 Nancy Wilson albums in two years. Adderley influenced her to move away from R&B to the torch and jazz genres. Nancy Wilson's collaboration in 1962 in 1962 with Cannonball Adderley propelled her to the top, and the year 1963 saw her scoring her first hit Tell Me the Truth. This performance helped her land a gig at the New York Coconut Grove in 1963, America's most popular nightclub.

Maisie Richardson Sellers (born Maisie Elizabeth Sellers) is a British TV and film actress. She has played Chloe Winthrop's leading lady in the Netflix film The Kissing Booth.
